Compostable:

Certified compostable, friendly to earthworms – tried and tested. In a purpose compost facility, the mat breaks down in 180 days – as opposed to years by the plastic backed alternatives.

If you do not have access to a compost facility, there are still benefits to disposing in landfill. As the mat is made from plant bioplastic, the product will still break down faster in comparison to plastic and will not leave behind any nasty microplastics. A win for the planet!

Compliant with AS 4736 compostability standards, due to a cornstarch-based bioplastic backing and 5-ply paper fluff pulp top layer, sourced from responsibly managed forests.
